Of all of the hundreds of decisions we made in the year and a half preceding our wedding, hiring Brad and Sara was by far one of the best ones.

When we first met with Brad, we spoke about his backstory, how he and his wife Sara met while shooting weddings, and that often Sara would come along to Brad’s weddings as the second photographer. At the outset, we hoped that’d be the case for ours because we loved the symbolism of having a married couple shoot our wedding together.

What we didn’t realize at the time was that the Brad + Sara duo brought so much more than just good vibes (though they did bring boatloads of those). It became apparent to us right away seamlessly the two of them worked together to not only create the perfect experience for us, but also (as we saw when we got our photos back) to complement each other’s photographic perspectives. Wrought from years of professional (and life!) experience together, the comprehensiveness of the photos we got was unbelievable. Before Brad even spoke, Sara knew where to position herself, what needed to be done, and how to squeeze every ounce of photo potential out of each moment, and vice versa from Sara to Brad. The care and positivity they provided us kept us sane all day- even down to Sara fixing Holly's hair!

Beyond the overwhelming tangible benefits of having our wedding photographers know each other so well, the two of them are just plain fun to be around. They clearly have fun together (shocker), and their perfect mix of calming but playful and lighthearted energy was infectious throughout the entire day. They made it easy for us to actually relax and have fun at our wedding.

We really can’t say enough about not only how talented Brad and Sara are but how good of people they are too. Two days after our wedding, the four of us closed down a bar together, and the next time we’re up in Rhode Island we’ll be calling them again, just to say hi! We chose Brad because we loved his candid style of photos, how he wasn’t afraid to capture all the silly faces and get right up in the action. It is truly incredible to have so many beautiful photos that reflect how much joy we experienced that day, and together Brad and Sara each brought their own energy to the finished product that makes the whole more than the sum of its parts. We developed such a genuine connection with Brad and Sara, practically within moments, and cannot wait to continue supporting them (and, to the slight annoyance of our friends, gush about them every time the word “wedding” comes up in conversation) in every one of their next endeavors.
